Question about A Recommendation

Thanks everyone for the advice. I was able to contact my family member (what a concept right? Sometimes we get swept up thinking everyone has the answers on here) and I guess her sorority was Zeta Kappa before it (and the rest of Pepperdine's sororities) went national. Unfortunately it doesn't count like others ^^ have said so I'll browse around for a different rec! Thanks again!

However do mention she was a member of Zeta Kappa and indicate it was a local at Pepperdine, in the space where you can mention Greek relatives. this is one way some groups discern your interest, knowledge, and exposure, as well as family knowledge and support of joining Greek life.
