i have never included parents information other than names, address(es) college(s) attended, greek affiliation(s).

If you want to list parental employment information on your resume, fine. if i was writing a rec. for you, i would not include that parental information other than what i listed above. i cannot recall any friends who are alums. of other sororities ever asking me to get that information for them(if i had referred a pnm to them for a rec.).
