What's your biggest pet peeve?

When people try to order while on their phone. Whether I'm in front or behind the counter this really gets to me, especially today. One lady told me what she wanted but it took forever for her to realize that she hadn't paid yet. She was holding up quite a line and my manager eventually got her attention. Then she got mad when she wanted her drink Decaf and sugar free and we had to remake it. I usually ask, but didn't want to be rude *cough*, and interupt.

That's when you put up a sign that says "we will take your order when you are finished with your phone conversation." Several restaurants around here do this, and it seems to work.

I've mentioned it to the manager, because another cafe in the same franchise does it, but she thinks it's not appropriate.

Uhhh no eff that. At my job, if you come up to the bar with a phone glued to your hand I wont go over to you til your done, that is so inconsiderate!

I feel like I have wayyyyy to many, mostly stemming from my job as a bartender lol...you really see the crappy side of people..
