HJ Greek crest ring question

Hi Pixell!
I actually have that ring! It's cute, but a little bigger than it looks in the photo. I actually just got out my trusty tape measure to get an exact measurement (I'm geeky that way).

Ok, it is 6/10th of an inch wide and 1/2 an inch from top to bottom. I have small hands, so it is practically up to my knuckle.

Herff Jones (last time I checked) makes another pretty crest ring that is smaller. It is an oval shaped signet with the crest engraved on it. It's more understated and I sometimes wear it as a pinky ring.

Your second ring sounds really cute! They don't seem to offer it anymore. I'll see if I can find a similar one at a different store.

On the pink ring, how clear is the crest? I have a cheaper ring I bought in school and the crest looks really "stuck-on" and isn't really defined.

There is actually a pretty good amount of detail in the crest, but you can't make out the motto. The crest looks good; not like it was stuck on at the last minute.
