Blondie 20 had a simulataneous faux recruitment thread going on too! So hard for our budding creative writing student to keep everything straight, especially considering there was no way she was even greek to start with.

And then italiachicaaa shows up in post 177 after many of us noted the improbable number of similarities between her faux recruitment story /writing style and EB's.

Yes, EB had all three stories going on at once.

The problem so many of us had with EB is that she continued to insist that ever last word of her "we were served margaritas during round one" thread was true. Including the part where 3 PNMs were hanging out in the bathroom together bashing sororities, the rude sorority girls, and then EIGHT houses that she visited third round. It just gave a really crappy picture of sorority women, greek life, and the whole recruitment process. A little creative license is fine when writing a story.... perpetuating negative stereotypes when you aren't even greek is unacceptable, especially considering PNMs and parents read these boards.

Whatever. Good riddance.

Sorry for the double post.

Do we have confirmation that Cali is Earp or is that just suspected? I always assumed Cali was of the Miss E, volleyball, etc group. While Earp certainly can be argumentative and throw out the insults that Cali did, our Cali perp clearly has never been a member of a sorority. Her confusion over me looking her up on inCircle proved that... she had no clue that organizations even have national rosters and got creeped out and wondered how in the world I could have confirmed such a thing. Given that she claimed to be a member of my organization, and members are informed/have access to inCircle right after initiation, it makes it even more suspect.

I went back to provide link for post but it looks like it has been deleted. Boo.

While Earp certainly has killed a brain cell or billion from all that whiskey I still give him enough credit to know that people can be confirmed.

My reason for thinking it's Earp and not the other trolls is that she didn't flip out in the same way. And Earp has a way of turning a statement into a really stupid rhetorical question. There was only one 'female' who typed like Earp - lovepowrgirl? And I thought he was just trying to dodge your InCircle, not doubting it.

My reason for thinking it's not flowerpower/phimuperp/violet cardinal is that that troll was logging around onto all her alts and defending herself but cali never showed up.

My very first signature as DrPhil told people what my original usernames (plural) were. Only idiots who didn't read the signature, or even catch the tone of my posts and the fact that I was typing to people like I wasn't a newbie, thought I was a sockpuppet. Good point on Earp. Who knows?

Agree that it is not perpberry. I noted all her logging out/logging in too that night and am always amused that they don't think we will pick up on join dates and log-in/out action.

So glad that you started this. Waaaaay too many trolls this summer.

I do have to say that a "good" troll brings out the quintessential snarkiness that is such an enjoyable part of the GC experience.
