My very first signature as DrPhil told people what my original usernames (plural) were. Only idiots who didn't read the signature, or even catch the tone of my posts and the fact that I was typing to people like I wasn't a newbie, thought I was a sockpuppet. I forgot the username but someone thought she/he was calling me out for being a sockpuppet a couple of years ago. It was quite a funny fail.
However, if people have more than one ACTIVE username (rather than just getting tired of a username and letting it die out, since GC isn't like other boards that allow members to change their username), then they are a troll or a sockpuppet. Whomever that applies to....
