I want to ask this in the nicest possible way, since I really do respect many, many ADPis on here and in real life, but... I'm dying to know...

"First, Finest, Forever."

Does it seem a bit boastful to declare, "Finest?"

So many are quick to criticize when tiers are mentioned -- would this be a problem too?

I don't think that's any more boastful than

Kappa Alpha Theta- The finest and most rewarding membership experience

or

Kappa Kappa Gamma- Tradition of Leadership

Both of which have been changed, but still.

They're using something that rolls trippingly off the tongue. What F word should they use instead? Funniest? Fantastic? I'm way less offended by that than I am at some of the taglines that blatantly bit(e) off established open mottos of other groups.

ETA: and used on facebook, but similar question.
"Above All Else" is still AEPhi's official tagline: http://www.aephi.org/aephi_story/phi_phacts/ It's not as prominent on the redesigned web site as it was previously.
