Chi Omega- flourish I understand that Alpha Phi just voted on new branding, DPhiE has a new site coming out this month and several other groups have convention this year and may unveil new taglines. Let me know if I am wrong in interpreting the inter/national websites. I used capitalization and punctuation like that used on the sites. I really like some of these. I see a trend towards uncapitalized sentence fragments (AOII, Tri Sigma, ASA, AXiD, AST, KD, AGD), three words connected by periods, commas or no punctuation (Phi Mu, Gamma Phi Beta, Alpha Delta Pi [with Since 1851. tagged on the end!], DPhiE, Phi Sig), and a single word (Chi Omega and Delta Zeta.) |
For ZTA, I'm not sure it's as much a tagline, as our open motto. Is it that way for other orgs as well?
|
DPhiE is no longer using dedication pride and excellence. There will be something new coming, but our vision is: Setting the standard for sisterhood in an ever-changing world.
|
No, Kappa Delta's open motto is "Let us strive that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest". And I LOVE IT!
|
our tagline is apart of our new branding that was launched in 2006 (sisters, correct me if I'm wrong). I love our new branding and how everyone is hopping on the pink and brown bandwagon
|
Alpha Gamma Delta does not have an open motto.
In addition to "surrounded by sisterhood", there's the Vision Statement of "Inspire the Woman. Impact the World." I remember when I saw "surrounded by sisterhood" and the rose circles for the first at the 2001 Atlanta Convention. It was so exciting to see the new brand! |

As for AGD, I really like "Inspire the woman. Impact the world." It says a lot! I think I've just figured out that you meant that "No" KD did not use their motto as their tagline, not "No"the tagline was not "making great things happen!" |
Our open motto is "Union Hand in Hand"

I think what we are talking about here is "branding" aka "taglines".
Personally, I like our old "Love.Labor.Learning.Loyalty" - essentially our creed summed up in 4 words. |

For any ASAs, when did y'all change from "Aspire. Seek. Attain."? |

In addition to the above for Tri Sigma, "Friendship.Character.Conduct." (a shortened version of our 3 core principles, gets used alot.
|
I'm not sure if this is a tagline, but on our website we have this one:
"Timeless Tradition, Contemporary Vision. Always Alpha Phi" |
Unless something was just released at convention, we don't have a tag line as far as I know.
Our site doesn't have anything on convention besides the location, the dates, and room rates. *sigh* I wish our site was updated more often. |
