You may remember our discussion but obviously you didn't understand it if you're asking why we can't just despense with a trial and hang him now. Because. It. Would. Be. Unconstitutional. Not to mention uncivilized.
Seriously, I'm sorry but I just don't have much patience with this. I'll be the first to admit that the criminal justice isn't perfect -- in some cases far from it. And I'll gladly listen to informed criticisms and engage in discussions about them. But I have little patience with criticisms -- complete with
s and $s -- that demonstrate appalling ignorance of the some of the basic constitutional principles this country is founded on -- principles that a fifth grader should know.
