The older lady on the ep of T&T TOTALLY reminded me of the girl who was still doing cheesy kid pageants at 17.
I found it funny that the other girl and her parents look back on it and say how silly it was that they were so into it.
I might add that 17-year-old beauty queen had no college plans, while the other girl was going away to school.
Interesting, especially since sooo many of these parents think these pageants are going to open acting, modeling, etc doors for their kids. Most of the time, they don't and your kid stops doing them after you've wasted thousands of dollars. lol.

I was amazed at how poised/smart/pulled together/down to earth the one girl (Brooke?) was. She was the brat when she was 5 and her mother was more than irksome. The Louisiana family just made me sad...really sad.
