In this vein, they strike all the time. I had a "pledge period" when getting into my honor society (which had Greek letters). Greek letters were assigned to certain dorms and we had to be "initiated." Black folx always tryna 'nitiate somebody. Honestly, some things are not meant to be "made special." Sometimes an honor society is just a bunch of smart people and should stay as such. Leave the nerds in peace.

If it only makes as much sense as our perception will allow, wouldn't saying there is no difference only be your perception? J/k

I've seen dumber as it pertains to Greek Life but a "secret" invitation message to nonmembers (I assume nonmembers) is just hilarious.

I find that Greek Life administrators dealing with unfamiliar territory (ex. NPC member overseeing LGLO activities or a non-Greek overseeing an NPC expansion process) seem more prone to blunders, especially when they are under a dictate to encourage diversity. They don't have anyone contextualizing a new experience for them in terms they understand.
