Why?
It may have been as simple as giving her more time as SG. And I worry that Ginsberg may have to resign sooner than she would like for health/age reasons. For her sake I hope not, but you never know.

From what I've heard on NPR, that's what the pundits think. This beefs up her credentials for the post.
