Accreditation, reporting process, assessment, etc..

Furthermore, are these programs even that rewarding or helpful and who do they benefit?

I was new member ed and dreaded filling out these reports because they were so tedious.. any suggestions on what to do or what the point is?!

There has to be some level of accountability when you're part of a national organization. If all your group is ever doing is partying and never doing philanthropy, blowing off rituals, and not bothering to educate or rush new members, it's going to have a negative effect on the chapter and the sorority as a whole.

Just think of it this way, if you were NME and had no report to fill out...that would mean you had no new members, and that would really suck. It's not like you have to meet with each girl individually and read her report on what the sorority means or something.
