The bottom line I am trying to get across is if there is a way that sororities and fraternities could take some time to reflect on what is important to them and come up with ways to prevent what happened in KY. I think that the things we were founded on should be what we are held accountable for and should be what we gain in terms of skills. I will continue to be a lifelong advocate for the Greek system and want to ensure that those who encounter it after me will be better equipped upon graduation with important life skills the sorority was able to bestow upon them.

if i am understanding you correctly, you are wishing that the reports would ask about things that you feel would benefit your chapter? the reports most likely are for the benefit of your national office, so that they know your chapter follows protocol and so that national and chapter members can get a real assessment on the health of the chapter. you may not be able to see the big picture, but they don't ask you to fill out the reports just for busy work-after all, someone has to read them and record their findings.
