I remember a couple of years ago (99/00) when VIBE interviewed R. Kelly (I can't put my hands on said issue right now might be in a recycling process
) but he said that he never wears underwear.
Not only that but this was a point in his life where he was not sleeping very much. He would go to the studio, record/write, go play ball, but no sleeping. I will look for said magazine issue this week if I get a chance.
I have never slept in a closet. For him to find comfort in closets scares me because maybe he used to get put in closets as a child.
