I know it may not be popular here on GC to discuss reputations and tiers and such. However, as a UK alumnus, I am more than happy to list the "top" chapters at UK. The ones that are "respected, involved on campus, good grades, wins philanthropy's ect."
In alpha order they are as follows:
Alpha Delta Pi
Alpha Gamma Delta
Alpha Omicron Pi
Alpha Phi
Chi Omega
Delta Delta Delta
Delta Gamma
Delta Zeta
Kappa Alpha Theta
Kappa Delta
Kappa Kappa Gamma
Pi Beta Phi
Sigma Kappa

All of the philanthropies of the chapters are highly respected and noteworthy. Some of the events may be more popular than others but they are great philanthropies none the less.

If I may add to this. If I am thinking of the same [struggling] chapter, I would like to point out that unless things have drastically changed, the chapter is not in any danger of closing. It is financially solvent (i.e. doing well), and has an active and full social calendar. With so called "top tier" fraternities to boot.
The point I am trying to bring forward is that all the sororities at UK are respected and liked.

I believe I said struggling just a tad and that would not imply danger of closing. Also from knowing and working with many of the sorority advisors on a regular basis at UK and Centre, as well as my own alma mater, I would say your list that you compiled is highly flawed with inaccuracies. No offense.

I think he made a list of all groups in alphabetical order, but I could be wrong.

Whoops! That does appear to be so. He made the comment of listing the top chapters and then I saw the list and was immediately irritated!
Sorry about that TSteven! I retract my my comment!
