My understanding is these 'sex tapes' were made for the benefit of her boyfriend. Making such videos is hardly an uncommon practice these days, especially for folks in her age group. I think many people would be shocked to see how common it really is.
That said, I'm not really even sure what one thing has to do with the other. Despite the ridicule, she has stuck with her guns re: the gay marriage issue, and these revelations have probably just added mass and momentum to the legend that is Carrie Prejean.

I agree. However, I think most people know that making such videos is hardly an uncommon practice. They are just blowing it out of proportion in an effort to get "revenge" because she dared express an opinion that ruffled some feathers.
Perez Hilton and all these other people need to get over it. She was asked her opinion. she gave it. Ironic that people are saying she is intolerant, but yet they are doing the very thing they accuse her of doing. Maybe some of these people should try leading by example. If you want her to show tolerance for your homosexual lifestyle, show tolerance for her viewpoints as well.
