The world's most tireless proponent of "opposite marriage" now has 30 nude photos and 8 sex tapes to her credit! One of said tapes, in which she cooed and touched her Lady Possible, was shown WITH HER MOM IN THE ROOM in order to prevent her from seeking damages from the Miss California USA organization. She has also thrown a live tantrum on Larry King and cited an Ann Coulter tirade against Nancy Pelosi as an example of liberal hatred of strong conservative women!

I wish they'd take her chichis back.

I'm a big supporter of gay marriage... it'd be money in the bank for me -- and yeah, equal treatment under the law is almost always a good thing.

That said, I do think the coverage of Ms. Prejean is unfair and disgusting. Certain people want to see her personally destroyed for publicly holding an opinion contrary to their own.

My understanding is these 'sex tapes' were made for the benefit of her boyfriend. Making such videos is hardly an uncommon practice these days, especially for folks in her age group. I think many people would be shocked to see how common it really is.

That said, I'm not really even sure what one thing has to do with the other. Despite the ridicule, she has stuck with her guns re: the gay marriage issue, and these revelations have probably just added mass and momentum to the legend that is Carrie Prejean.

She pretty much self-destructed and it's hard to blame things like that on other people. She's handling everything like an idiot, while using the added attention to sell a book. I can't really feel that bad for her. She made her bed...

I disagree that she self-destructed. King kept asking her about something he knew she couldn't talk about. Then she had some sort of issues with her microphone or just decided that the interview was intended to be an ambush rather than an opportunity to advertise her book.

Videos and photos are very common and people need to be smarter about these things unless they expect them to be distributed.

If you don't want people to ask you about your sex tape, don't go on talk shows. Easy peasy. If she actually thought no one would go there, then she's got a few steps before she reaches idiot. It has nothing to do with whether she's for or against gay marriage, or ferret marriage, or marriage wearing a tacky ass Burberry knockoff tux.

They're both dumbasses. However, I also have a hard time believing there are suddenly 8 sex tapes featuring Carrie Prejean. I do however, find it easy to believe that there are idiots out there that would fabricate them to make some quick cash.

I would've agreed until she opended her mouth. I completely disagree with her opinion, but it is indeed an opinion and she can certainly voice it. Had she left it at that, fine. But she felt entitled when she should've felt humble, and she became her own worst enemy. I can't say I've never made inappropriate pictures because in young and stupid moments I have and I have no idea whether they still exist or not...but either way I HOPE I'd have the sense, were I in her shoes, to explain myself not by placing blame anywhere but where it belongs but to own up to my actions. Honestly I don't think her videos or pictures are that big of a deal. Lots of people around my age and hers have done that and I'm sure they did before and will after. But her mistake was to claim extreme purity in a righteous manner instead of saying something to the effect of "Hey, I've made mistakes and every one of us will be a hypocrite in some form or fashion in ours lives but the best we can do is learn from it, and I've attempted to do so." Reminding the public that she is still young but taking responsibility for her actions probably would've garnered a much more sympathetic response than her extremely self righteous and it's-anyone's-fault-but-mine approach. I think she's an idiot and extremely ugly on the inside. I also think it's possibly because she's young and feels cornered and doesn't have enough help outside or inside to make better choices about how to deal with the situation. Maybe she'll grow up and become a better person one day...it's certainly possible.

ha ha...when I first read this, I slightly misunderstood and I thought that it meant that her Mom was in the same room with her in the ACTUAL VIDEOTAPE SCENE. LOL
