That's what I did but all the sites really mention is the possible side effects. I don't see how they can correlate having your gallbladder out with birth control? I've heard that gallbladder removal was common. I have been on Yasmin/Ocella for about 6 years.

It isn't THAT common...and if a lot of people on any medication are having it done, that would definitely raise a red flag.

True. Maybe it seems more common now that I've had it done? It seemed like everyone I had run into had theirs out, old and young.

I think that's kind of like when you buy a new car and all of a sudden it seems like everyone on the road has the same model.

You are just more aware of it than you used to be.
