The first picture that was released of him was MUCH more flattering than the other picture I saw of him in another article. The second picture made him look much creepier!

Thankfully the 9 injured are all not thought to be life threatening. So far I don't know anyone involved.

I must say that I was also thankful that I didn't know the shooter. It did run through my head, what if it was someone from my high school? What if it was someone I dated? Whew. I was so creeped out and upset last night - the gym is only 4 miles from my house and I'm at that shopping center a couple times a week.

Very happy that the pregnant woman survived and that her baby is doing fine.

Condolences to the families of the women who were murdered.

Glad that the pregnant woman survived as well as her baby.

As for the butthole who had no game for nearly 20 years: Why? We'll never know.

Sad he had a pussy problem, tho'

My deepest and sincerest sympathies for all of the victims, from those who died to those who will never forget witnessing this tragedy.

In a very ironic twist, I received my reminder to renew my license to carry the same day. There really does need to be a better handle on the mental health portion of the application.

I feel like Pennsylvania's concealed/carry permits are a little too lax in general. No offense to you because I'm sure you're a responsible gun owner but... I know a lot of people who had one and probably should not have.

I agree, and Virginia's is almost identical.

I will fight to my dying breath for the Second Amendment, but I'm also all about taking a course on gun safety first. I took one offered by the NRA - actually, my whole family did - and literally half of the course is how to avoid getting into gunfire. You also needed a 75% on the rifle range to pass.

ETA: And thanks for considering me safe. I'm one of those safety freaks who will lock my gun in my locked car when guests are over.

I do support the second amendment, but I believe there needs to be more standardized gun control laws across the country. Also honeychile, you don't have a gun safe? I would think that would be the safest thing you could do.

No, when I'm at home, it's ready for use. Most people who break into a house won't wait while you prepare your gun to fire. However, there are no children or such in the house unless they're visiting.

A lot of cops I know have one on their nightstand. It only takes a second to get into and it is a secure location for it. Then again I also live in a state where it is near impossible to get a carry permit.

I live in a city where it's illegal to own a handgun period.

I'm not going to lie - I'm all for better gun control but I'm seriously against handgun bans.
