Munchkin...not to take away from this and I am not being crass or anything...but this isn't surprising anymore.

This is a testament really to how how child rearing is spiralling out of control in this world.

Sadly , we hear about teen mothers who get pregnant so why should we be surprised that this teen mother got preganant by a 13 year old boy?

What are we teaching these kids?

Because hey, if they are going to have sex early, this is the result.

Maybe we should be shocked that the girl is 15 and he was 12 at the time...

This whole story is crazy to me, but especially the part about Alfie's estranged dad showing up wearing a devil mask...what?!?!

I'm not surprised by what happened--teenagers have kids all the time. But, what surprises me is how the UK media has gone full hog over it. That and the fact that he looks 8.

The whole thing is crazy. Did you see Alfie's mom? Loved the Chanel shades she was rocking out.

it's crazy, but it just gives more reason now why we have to do what we can with our kids to raise them up right so that they won't wind up in the papers for stuff that happens enough that it sometimes doesn't warrant a news story...Iguess i would have been more surprised if the boy hadn't hit double digits or something.

The only thing I find surprising is that a boy who doesn't look like he has even started to go through puberty yet is capable biologically...

He doesn't look like he has even started to go through second grade, yet along puberty. One of the articles quoted a UK doctor who said that 10-12 is about the point where sperm starts to be released with emissions; it has been reported to happen to 6 year-olds. Ewww!

The line-up of wannabe fathers is surprising to me.

I didn't think so either, but I didn't think that about girls either. And then I met a 9 year old girl who was pregnant. Now, not a lot of these young pregnancies surprise me.
