George Bush has been and will go down in history as an insult to the American Presidency. Ya know what's really sad... all of those Democrats who say this, they still couldn't find a candidate better than him who could beat him in 2004.

In regards to this, when you think about how many seriously intelligent, sensible, and dynamic people there are in this country, it makes you wonder about the four "chosen" who ran for President & Vice President of the two major parties this year.

Very true. I was able to vote in 2004 and 2008 and I was fairly knowledgeable about the 2000 election and the candidates running. But in those 8 years, when it's come down to the final 4, I've never been truly excited and completely comfortable in choosing one person over another to win the presidency.
