When my local sorority became part of AEPhi, AEPi had been on campus for nearly 50 years. A rumor started going around that the local chapter of AEPi had gone coed, or that we were some sort of AEPi little sister org.

To be fair, the members of the local chapter of AEPi were very supportive of us as we got started as a local.

But, um, yeah... On the national level, AEPhi was founded before AEPi. Also, phi and pi are not the same letter. You'd think that at an engineering school, people would know the difference.
