I'm very curious where people are getting this. I've asked a few times, and all I've heard is the same old "somebody said that somebody read that somebody said" run around.

Unless there's proof, it's a pretty tacky thing to say about the daughter involved, let alone her family. And yes, I know of a few families who passed an illegitimate child off as the teenager's sibling (including my Girl Scout leader) - but not in the past 15-20 years!

And it just seems like on of those funny rumors that make less sense the more you think about it.

If you were faking a pregnancy to cover for your teenage daughter, wouldn't you make sure that you looked pregnant and talked about your pregnancy a lot?

I'm kind of at a point where I don't think anything in politics could honestly surprise me, and yet, this Palin story just seems far fetched. And it seems like it's going to be hard to even acknowledge enough to put to rest. What would you say, "hey since people on the internet are dragging my family through the mud, I'm going to go ahead and release my medical records?" and once you did, do you think the wackos would accept that, or would it go onto "well, those are obviously faked." It just seems a little conspiracy theory to me.

Still pissed that three pages of supposedly off topic posts in this thread were deleted a couple of days ago, and now the thread is exactly back where it was before.

I'd really like an explanation for why all those posts were arbitrarily deleted.

And the now the judgment shifts from "faking her own pregnancy" to judgment of her as a parent of a pregnant teen.

Go!

So wait, is Bristol pregnant AGAIN or is that just Sarah Palin's admission that Trig is actually Bristol's child? It's weird that an article dated today says that Bristol IS pregnant.

You were wrong before.

ETA: Bristol is five month pregnant right now, which means she could not have been Trig's mom.

The campaign is saying that Bristol is pregnant now for the first time.

Even Bree on Desperate Housewives wore a pillow under her clothes last season when her teenage daughter became pregnant!

wait a minute, Sarah Palin's 44? I thought she was older than that, she looks older.

And I don't know who "Trig" and "Bristol" are but I am finding those names more troublesome than their parentage.

Weird, I think she looks about 44. I mean a good looking, real person 44, rather than celebrity 44.

Well, I know of kids named Bristol, Willow, Tripp, Trigg (mom's maiden name), Piper, etc. Not that strange to me. After all, we have lots of Dakotas, Brooklyns, etc. here. It's just not that out there to me.

Track, I will give you, is strange. They named him that b/c apparantly they both love to run.
