I know this has been a tossed around idea. But again, PNMs know what chapters do and do not have houses. They will hold off for the first few days (while recruitment would be in the student union), but once recruitment is back into houses (the last few days like you suggest)- PNMs still would see some advantages.
This isn't the case for all PNMs (like you said ajmom), but it is seen a lot once you're on the other side.
However, if UCF wants to continue to colonize a new chapter ever 4 years, then they need to start providing houses for the chapters that have been there for 10 years (ahem) or are part of the unhoused sororities.
