Why was the thread asking why LadyLonghorn's thread was moved moved?

for what it's worth, the thread asking "why" was moved because of the vulgar language being used.

It is possible to make a point without throwing around the F-bomb all the time.

However, a bunch of us are still wondering why the thread that started all of this was moved, and she has yet to explain why.

If they want to clean up F-bombs, that's what the edit button's for.

Moving them's just plain lazy and cowardly.

^^^ I agree. You can take that up with DA and the other mods who apparently don't believe in "cleaning up" and reopening threads.

Personally I feel if the original thread was cleaned up after the hollywin comments the LL thread would have been perfectly fine.

i edited the above in order that i could agree with it. i have seen moderators just about defend and protect posters who any general poster would identify as a troll or sockpuppet. and permit them to hang around. but others seem to take charge and take care of matters like that. why?

Agreed. And on a positive note, a moderator took the initiative (don't know which one) in the Recruitment stories thread, deleted a handful of posts that were pretty heated, and made the thread workable and readable again. I honestly think that's what a majority of us would like to see. Not moving it to a mods only corner, not deleting the thread outright. Heck, I think a bunch of us wouldn't mind (and we've said this on the other thread) that we're not averse to having a thread locked on occasion. But not what has been happening lately.

That should be unacceptable. Is one mod's arrogance and abuse of power worth all of this unrest? I think the Mod Squad needs some reformulating.

Sorry, but you're wrong. I asked John to be de-modded. You can ask John or any other mod who was there at the time and they can cite the post in MC where I gladly asked to be de-modded.

GeekyPenguin, KDDani and AXOAlum! Sandy is correct, she asked to be removed because she was getting heat from some of the snarky remarks along with some others who were demodded at once! Oh she got pissed as someone put her info on site! Dah, it is on many open links. She does not remember herself shitting on people after meeting them! They were not or did not seem to be in her strata! She aint no Hawian queen from what I have seen!


Dang that "rhyms " I think!

I was told it would not look good if they were gone and I wasn't! So I took it and moved on!

Some cannot I guess?
