I don't know if they show the dates, but I just learned YESTERDAY that I couldn't get into another NPC sorority. The KKG posts were from much earlier in the year.

For most of us who are members, that just seems really unlikely. There are a certain number of people who come here and ask about loopholes, etc, but most people are instructed during new member education and again when they resign membership that they are ineligible for memberships in other NPC groups.

And to tell you the truth, it's sometimes even mentioned during recruitment or in recruitment materials, when people have questions about re-rushing.

So, "gosh, I didn't know" doesn't quite do away with the seeming sketchiness of your posts.

You may be a perfectly lovely person in real life, but they way things have gone here doesn't fully reflect that.

I disaffiliated with my NPC sorority. I wish they would say that before you initiate into the sorority. I had no idea that there was no way out, even if it was the sororities fault. That seems highly unfair. What if the chapter didn't do anything while other sororities did? What if they harrassed or completely gave a girl the silent treatment to force her out? What about that? There should be a way to petition it.

Oh, those weren't my experiences. My experience was that the sorority was just a waste of time and money. We didn't do anything. And I wasn't trying to get into another sorority at the time.

Why would you keep on doing something that you don't enjoy at all? That's just stupid. And I'm not going around telling people what group it is, so what does it matter if I share my personal experiences. I figure it would help someone understand my situation better so maybe they could help me. I was exteremly commited to my chapter until they let ME down.

And I wanted to get into another NPC sorority that would do something. However, now that I'm being told it's not possible, I just get into hopeful one or two service sororities.

You said that you posted in the Kappa thread earlier in the year, which was two months ago in May. The date was May 8 of this year--

I'm thoroughly confused because you said that you had posted much earlier in the year but the date only goes back to May. Was there a mistake in posting dates? Perhaps a computer glitch?
