I had a terrible roommate my freshman year. I truly believe the admissions people picked the two most opposite people in the apps and decided to see how funny it might get. I'm not religious but I am not an atheist either. However, my roommate was a true blue born again Christian. The Christian sayings all over the room didn't even bother me. I wasn't offended even when she said it's unfortunate I was a democrat.

ETA: I once asked her why she was always smiling and perky. She told me that no one should ever see her sad and that regardless of how upset she was, she "needed to always be smiling".

Have you ever been with someone (as in, knew them or were talking to them) who was bi-polar during their manic period? This is how she was all the time.

During my freshman year, I got shoehorned into a "crowded double" - i.e. they stick 3 people in a room intended as a double.

Roommate #1 and I had the same first name. Whenever anyone called to talk to either of us, she ASSumed the call was for her - "Oh hiiiiiiiiiiiiii!". She's also one of those people who won't admit she doesn't know who the person on the other end is (no caller ID) so she'd spin them out until she figured out who they were. She once talked to one of my sorority sisters for five minutes before she figured out she was from my sorority, not hers.

Roommate #2 was cool until she started dating the guy down the hall. We'd established a "no sexile" rule - no overnight male guests - but she would constantly be making out with him in our room, in his room, in the floor lounge, etc. It was very disgusting. And then she'd get all huffy when Roommate #1 or I asked him to leave because we wanted to sleep.

And, Roommate #2's boyfriend was a racist. He poisoned both my roommates' minds. It wasn't long before they wouldn't give me the time of day.

The up side to this was that I landed a sweet single mid-spring-semester (and freshmen do NOT get singles in that dorm) and the "twins" had to move to a different floor, because if they'd stayed on the same floor, they would be in a crowded double again with some random frosh. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

My freshman year there was a "crowded double" down the hall from me who had three Jessicas living in it. My floor had around 25 girls living on it, and there were 10 Jessicas. It was insane.

I only had roommates for my freshman year. And I have no weird stories, other than my roommate stole a bunch of my makeup, and the turned around and used it to ruin a bunch of my clothes.

My first roommate used to watch the nearby guys' dorms and the fraternity houses with her binoculars.

There was a girl on my floor who "hooked up" with enough guys in the adjoining guys dorm that she literally had a dry erase board with tally marks. It wasn't outside on the door but I definitely saw it so it wasn't just a rumor.

Dang! My chapter actually has a couple of repeated names that aren't even that common. (2 Noelles and 2 Alexas). Those Jessicas are crazy! (We have one active and one alumna Jessica, though...lol!)

Ok, now who says that's creepy? That's totally acceptable!

Slight hijack...my chapter, at its largest, was 12 members. There were 3 Jessicas. We called them all by their last names, and even though one is now married, we still call her that.

Freshman year

My roommate was a senior -living in the dorms. She was engaged to an Aggie and was very, very religious. As in, holier than thou. So, since God has a sense of humor, our suite mates were two lesbians. So my roommate started leaving little pamphlets (Are you SAVED? God's Plan for You type stuff) by their sink. They retailated by putting shaving cream on MY loofah.
I was a drama major, with weird hours.I tried to be considerate when I had to come in late at night. I also, oh NOES - went to the occasional party. (Drinking is evil, don't you know) She decided to move out because I was not "Christian" enough - mind you, I was active in Canterbury and a Christian drama group. Fun times . . .

Even if they meant to put it on her loofah, that isn't a very good prank. It's already in the shower and you can just wash it off!

Lol sorry, but that was the first thing I thought of.
