Regarding the article, I am very familiar with the author Byron Richards (a renowned certified nutritionist), his site, and the products since I've purchased some of the supplements myself (and they are great by the way) and read two of his books (also wonderful, one of them I call my nutrition bible), which is why I received the article. There is no doubt in my mind that the author is passionate about this cause and there seems to be a whole lot more to it than the bill's content implies.

One of the organizations behind this effort to challenge the Mother's Act is called "Unite For Life" at http://www.uniteforlife.org/. There are also youtube testimonials out there from mothers who say that they have already been affected by the proposed act: http://youtube.com/watch?v=LQW23XCmOCw.

How can someone be affected by a Bill that is languishing in committee and will probably never make it to debate? Since you have read Richards' books, etc., have you even read the Bill?

I agree, reading the actual bill rather than the propaganda from blog-based sites with an agenda will provide a more thorough understanding of what the legislation (that will die in committee, as it did last year) proposes.

And this is from the website you listed above:
Are you superstitious? Someone sent us this: Add the numbers in S. 1375 (1, 3, 7, 5) and H.R. 20 (2,0) and see what you get. 18. Three sixes!
This is not rational or productive thinking.
