In Europe, when they serve you sausage and it's really icky boiled hotdogs with the grease still on them. *shudder*
I have one of those mothers who insisted that we try everything because, "You never know if you're going to become a diplomat or a missionary or just very well travelled," so I learned early how to at least try to eat the things I detest. That doesn't mean I like it, at all!
