I don't have any use for dating.. haven't been for awhile, I got married 2 years ago to the girl I'd been dating for 5 years prior.
My law school classmates, however, have been cleaning up on EHarmony. Out of the 4 I know who have used it, 2 are married to the people they met there.

Ok I'm new to this
But I am having the same issue horribly. I moved across the country without ANYONE I know. I work long hours and I have no clue how to meet new people. We have a Barnes and Noble next to my job but whenever I go in there its just to grab a bite to eat and return to work. **side bar the Barnes and Nobel next to my job is the one that is featured on Run's Hose** My company moved me out into the boonies and I work ALL day on Saturday's. What do you guys think?

^^^I think you're me in disguise and if anyone figures out how to combat the scene you just described, please send up a Bat signal.

You should try going to one with a digital media center in it. It allows you to burn CDs or download music to your MP3 player. I spend a lot of time downloading music to my MP3 player now.

I got hit on at work today! Apparenty, he's hit on every woman who works there--married, single, pregnant--he has no shame. Plus, my supervisor saw it and encouraged me to file a report, so I couldn't celebrate if I wanted to. Ah, he was ugly anyway.

I think you should become active in your fraternity/sorority alumni club, especially if you're close to a big city. We have mixers with fraternities all the time--I'm not looking, but if I were, that would be a good place to start. Also, if your town has a ZogSports, that's another way to meet people. If you're in Jersey, you're near either NYC or Philly--two places with large, just-out-of-college-not knowing anyone populations.
Good luck!

OMG! What is it with Borders, and Barnes & Noble. It seems like that's all I've been reading about on this thread. My God, does Barnes and Noble and Borders say books, music and "hot guys" now? lol
