Then you see Casey take Rebecca because she's going to be able to heavily influence Rebecca in some way because she's her big.

Yeah, in my chapter we had 3 presidents in a row all of the same family. Only one person in the direct line skipped being president because they graduated. It was crazy.

Well it seems like you may get it before July. In early August the network ordered 10 more episodes (they were only given 10 from the start) and they're set to come out in early 2008. Who knows when that will actually be, but we'll see. Wildfire comes back in January, so perhaps around then as well since it's a Monday night show as well and they can keep people watching the full two hours.

Gotta admit, I wanted to hate this show, but it drew me in. I'm happy that it's been renewed.

As for Calvin/Evan I didn't even know they were big/little. And for Cappie/Rusty who here DIDN'T want Cappie to be his big from the moment they met? The chemisty was there. Cappie's genuine interest and nurture in Rusty was adorable! Plus it guarantees that Cappie will be on screen as much as possible.

I would love to see Rusty eventually become Kappa Tau's President....maybe Dale will eventually rush and ends up in Omega Chi (I can't see him in Kappa Tau) and becomes Calvin's little? lol

I would like to see Dale join the Jewish fraternity so that he can convert them all.

Rusty and Jen K are so cute. Did anyone catch next week's previews? It looks like they get in a fight.
Also, what was with those sweetheart interviews? That's not anything close to what's done at my school at all. Anybody know if any schools where it's like that?

Frannie: I can see why she's spending a fifth year in school (not knocking those who did spend 5 years in school).
And can someone explain to me the sweetheart process? Is it simular to the one on the show?
Next week looks good!! I hope Casey sees the light!

Our fraternities don't do the sweetheart thing like that. The only fraternity that I was ever considered for just decided what girl to give it to, and asked her after deciding if she would be willing. I'm not sure what the actual voting process is, but I know that noone knows whether or not they were actually nominated. The year I was being considered, though, it was a different situation (don't want to go into details) so I can't tell you for sure.

Since they said Cappy's name was ironic, I'm guessing his name is Kappa. Which would really be bizarre, especially for a guy.
Has anyone kept count on how many majors he's been?

It was supposed to be ironic for hippie parents. I'm thinking something kind war or military like.

I can't see that happening unless Calvin stays in the closet. Who knows how much Dale's Conservative Christianity will allow him to tolerate? But Dale would make a great fraternity man (after all in real life he is!) and after seeing the beer-volcano epsiode, I can't imagine him staying a GDI much longer.

Can someone recap last night's episode for me? I had to miss it.

Go on ABC Family and they should have the episode up on their website.

No, but I had a TON myself. I never realized it until people started pointing it out to me. Granted, I graduated with three degrees (5yr plan plus some summer sessions). But either way, I don't consider it bad. To each his own.
And I don't think Dale will ever Rush anything. His character is there to show that there's life outside of the Greek world. It's also interesting because he's a faith-based character, paralleling the immorality of not only Greek life, but college life in general. And IF he does Rush, I don't think he'll go through with it, I just can't see him selling out like that (not selling out in my terms, but for him).
