As a current member of a UGA sorority, i can say that the most important thing is to go into recruitment with an open mind. DO NOT listen to what girls say in between parties about their opinion of houses, i know this is hard, but what is "home" to you may not be to them. There is no good or bad sorority, it is all where you feel comfortable and fit in, everyone has a different opinion. One important thing to look at during recruitment is the girls going to each party with you after round 1 ESP prefs... these could be the girls in you pledge class, so look around and make sure you could see yourself with that group. During my recruitment, i went in saying i was going to be an XYZ because my cousin was.. come to find out i did not fit in with those girls at all. Don't go a certain sorority because you know someone in it .. and don't be scared of them being mad at you... they won't be! like i said before everyone fits in someplace different. hope this helps!
