It is.
Good luck to them. I think that being a colony can be tougher than being a chapter.
Hopefully, they'll fix the perceived problems and move ahead...

If SN is Like LXA when there is a problem, hopefuly it will be taken care of within the Fraternity before everyone one else wants to get envolved.
This sounds like the case and Colleges do appreciate that fact!

Wow. That is just incredible. Were they even off campus for a year? I for one am very happy for them; it struck me as odd when they were booted - because the whole time the university leadership said they did nothing wrong.

According to the article, the allegations came to light in December 2006 and the newsletter I found on the MTSU website was from around March.
Their website is still up but unchanged. I wonder about the house tho....a colony with a house?

It seems like when other chapters come back on campus they retain their house. I doubt the chapter housing corp sold it that fast.

But congrats to the chapter of Sigma Nu at MTSU...
A good friend of mine here in Chattanooga, DJ Gruv ( used to be on Chattanooga State's 91.5 The Wawl with his show Digital House of Gruv )...is a brother of your fraternity.
Wish we could get a colony started at MTSU for Lambda Chi Alpha...

Not a problem. When my chapter was a colony, we had a house. This is not an issue.
