You'll really think I'm trashy when I tell you where I live...think "up the river", as in prison...But we live on the nice side of town.
So you're bridge & tunnel? I'm kidding. There's nothing wrong with the burbs (or Riverdale if that's where you live?) as long as you don't come into the meatpacking district on the weekends.

And, again, MOST people take mass transit into NYC for their jobs, so this proposed fee isn't hurting MOST people who work in NYC. So quit making it sound like he's keeping people from working.

I have no idea what you mean about giving other people jobs, so I'll just ignore it. As far as why is the traffic so bad, here's a little hint - biggest city in the country. Millions of people. Not a hard concept on the traffic issue...

Thanks for answering about Gracie, AlphaFrog!
You are right, I do not live there nor would I want to.

It has been a myrid trips by the way.

Well, I guess NY City is no different than any others, the outs and ins!

Yes, the rail system is second to none!

I read that book a long time ago...

I lived in NYC (Manhattan) for a while a few years ago and really love the city.

That really has nothing to do with the Mayor or politics -- but The City sometimes takes a bum rap.

So much to do and see.

True, sit on the rim outside of MSG and people watch! God it picked me up!

First night in a Deli, ordered a cheese burger and fries. That is what I got. Asked for water, that was extra. Onions, lettuce, and tomatoes were sides to put on My burger.

Mayors wanting to run that City have to have a death wish!
Did get a sauna and massage at the National Democratic Club of N Y from the President of Dante Jewellery. Wow was that FANTASTIC! Laying next to me was a City Councilman and finding out I was from Kansas wanted to know about Indians and buffalo!

Said they were all in zoos or on reservations just like cows and sheep in NY!

Had Toddies In the Kansas City Bar just off of Times square and drinks in a local Brooklyn bar watching Pitts Steelers and Giants.

Oh, NY that Toddlen town!

Don't hate it, it is crazy as hell!

Visit, yes, live there NO!

But being the Mayor, there is either Ego or a Death wish! LOL!

They did not want to live in NY, that is why they left!

Rudey, well I see Fred above all of them!

Hillary, well, she moved to NY so she could run for the Senate. I think that was called carpetbagging in the olden days!
I couldn't agree with you more, Earp! lol!

Yes I'm B&T - but Westchester so I'm snottier about it!

Dude - prison - as in Sing Sing.

And the last time I was in the meat packing district is was to get headshots done at a photographer's studio and it still smelled like rotting meat - very not "hip" then...

I'm a pregnant suburbanite with a mid-size sedan now; I'm lucky if I ever get into the city.
