Question What gives with Republican Party?

Okay they send me letters asking my opionions on stuff and invite me to be on some congressman or whatever's advisory council. But didn't send me any information about what they believe in?> who this Eric Cantor guy is? how they got my name in the first place? and will this end up being like Manchurian Candidate? I'll assassinate any one for my country.

Maybe they heard you were an extreme leftist and wanted to add your voice to their focus groups?

I had a teacher who was a real left winger (an admitted hippy). She participated in many political focus groups for conservatives and democrats alike. It's actually a really good chance to really make your voice count for something.

Gee, I don't suppose they asked for a donation in the mailing did they?

They will.

Either because your state allows 'swing' voters or you're registered as a Republican.

Really... if you don't know why, then you shouldn't be allowed to vote

And if you know the answer, don't ask the question

Try my shoes on. I get letters from BOTH parties, asking for money! All I need is Ralph Nadar & whomever the Libertarian Party is going to run this year for a full house!

You should take advantage of those opportunities....or at least look into them....they might be good for the resume?

btw....pretty harsh subject title for a thread that really isn't all that upset with repubs...

OH I have the best stories for this thread.

Somebody decided to give my name to the RNC. I now get letters from Bush/Cheney 04 once a week, as well as a biweekly letter and an email and phone call asking for money. I rip it all up and mail it back to them at their expense. They also sent me a photo of GWB and Laura - I drew horns on George and sent that back too. They just won't leave me alone!

Then last week I got a letter from them (this all comes to my parents house so it's a big barrage on the weekend when I do laundry) that asked me to fill out a "voter identification card" because they have me as a Registered Republican living in the XXXX area. I'm mailing it back to them along with my receipt from donating to the DNC.
