The chapter retreat at our home went great. From what I could tell for the little bit of time I was there, the girls had a great time, and my daughter said that they got a lot done. I got to hear one of their rush songs-loudly! So, I imagine it was an entrance song. Sure brought back memories to someone who pledged in 1971!
My daughter said after they went out to eat in the evening, they came back to the house, borrowed a Slip-N-Slide from our four year old neighbor, and everyone took several turns going down the neighbor's hill on it. My neighbor called her husband (a fireman) who, unfortunately for him, had the night shift. She told him there were a bunch of coeds on his front lawn in bathing suits, and she was SO sorry he was missing it!!

Anyway, after that they went swimming, then had more meetings. When we got home on Sunday after church, our home was spotless, both inside and out. There wasn't a piece of furniture out of place, no dirty dishes in the dishwasher, no trash in the trash cans, no wet towels by the pool. You would NEVER have known all those girls had been there. AND, we received a thank you note by Wednesday!!! Classy girls!
