Boo to them. If you are still in WI I know the store at Brookfield tends to be a little more lenient with returns.
I found Wacoal's on clearance last time I was at Macy's and got 3 for $100 - I was soooo happy!

Wow, I have never had trouble with Victoria's Secret, and I generally consider shopping there to be a splurge! The BEST bra I've ever owned is their Angels Secret Embrace. I also used to work at Gap Body and I was a fitting specialist so I would measure myself...and imagine my shock when I found that instead of being the 34A I'd always thought myself to be, or even the 36B I had bumped up to during pregnancy, I measured at a full THIRTY-SIX D. Crazy. The only problem is that breastfeeding causes your boobs to fluctuate a full cup size throughout the day so I round down.

I'm excited. I found the "one" bra from there that I love and I will be buying several now. I'm at the top of their size range for the style though

Ok so I have never had a bra fitting before. Where is the best place to go (and don't say VS! haha). How exactly do they do the fitting??

Go to any major dept store like Macy's, Dillards, etc., and ask the woman in the lingerie dept to measure you for bra size. She'll take a tape measure and take your measurements over your clothes to calculate bra cup and band size. It takes 2 seconds.

Gap Body is a good place to go! They just take a tape measure and measure over your clothes (if you're in a lot of layers they may ask you to take off your jacket, etc.). I'd wear a non-padded bra if you're going to have it done, just in case. You don't want to add too much oomph.

Ok so VS' has the worse fitting the world!!! I am a very ample C and can sometimes fit into a D depending on the bra. They told me on one occasion that I was a B cup on another time I was a DD apartley, now I know that boobs can change, but that is just plain crazy!!!

Thank you for that tip! I tried returning it at Bayshore and they were pretty much like "too bad, you're out of luck." But then I took it to Brookfield and received credit
I also tried and fell in love with Wacoal recently.

Back to the OP - now that you're single, cute bras don't matter. Go for comfort - yay for another reason to be single...

LOL-- good point! Although you could argue that now that I'm single, that's all the more reason to have cute bras!!!

Yay, I'm glad it worked for you! How is Bayshore now that they have remodeled and fancified? I'm living in the middle of nowhere this summer and Bayshore is the shortest drive for me but I've never really gone there before.

It's way nicer...they did a great job remodeling it. They've added a lot of stores and restaurants. It has a really open feeling and a lot of the stores are outside, so it's especially nice in the summer. You should definitely go there!

Begin Rant
I am here to complain about the Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual sale.
It's just too much of a hassle.
First of all, today was the first day I had time to actually go out to the store. I wake up early get to the store around 11pm... its a zoo! Lots of people in there. Crowded, etc., hard to move around.
Second... I hate how they organize the bras. Its stupid. Sorting by size of course makes sense, but can't they take it one step further and sort by styles and/or colors? I don't want to have to dig in the bra bins just to find something I want. Sure, it might cost less for payroll purposes, and it also may help distract buyers from the fact that what they find might not have matching sets... but go a step further? Besides, its like all the good stuff has already been bought and what was leftover was just the rejects/unwanted/returned stuff.
I walked out of the store empty handed. I could have tried harder to look, but its too much of a hassle. Too crowded, bad organization. I'll just wait until the end of the sale when the store is back to normal, not as crowded, and more organized. I know I could still go into the store and buy the non-sale stock that is organized and such, but I'll wait for the sale to end and for the Fall line to come in. I make enough money to where the sale prices aren't a big deal to me.
End rant
