So I'm reading the supposed leaked HPatDH and it's terrible. This is so not Jo's writing at all. I'm not too sure how anyone was supposed to fall for this.

^^ PM me - I need something fun to do

I am re-reading the books. Just finished GoF today - wow - I forget how far off base the movies really are. I hope that OotP is a little more in tune with the book.

From mugglenet.com regarding security measures:

Bloomsbury employs security measures for DH

The British Harry Potter publisher has revealed some of their security measures to ensure the magic of Deathly Hallows is maintained until July 21st.

According to The Scotsman, the book will only be delivered to bookshops one day before the release and they will be sealed in crates bound by steel chains. Furthermore, security guards will be deployed to printing plants, and Amazon has agreed to store its copies in warehouses at secret locations.

I'm sure there will be leaks even with the security measures in place.

I dunno, it's been a pretty tight ship so far. Even when I worked in a bookstore, you might, as an employee, be able to open the "Box That Must Not Be Opened" and read a bit yourself, but no way in hell could you take it out of the store. Most managers won't risk it. And if you post it on the internet? Scholastic/Bloomsbury will find you.

Well I'm sure they're unpickable locks. We'll just have to see if people remember the correct spell from book one to open them!

In a situation like this, security trolls are a must.

Even so, I'm sure there'll a copy up for grabs on ebay a week beforehand, in an auction that only lasts an hour, from an account that will be closed 5 seconds after the deal is done.

AXO, PM me with your email and I'll send it out. I haven't even made it past the second page yet and there's 281 of them altogether.
