I have used turbo tax for the last seven years or so and have never had any problems ( other than today when I did my taxes and found out that I owe Uncle Sam 3 grand). It's free if you're low income or in the military.

since i'm temping at a cpa firm until my own business can pay all of my bills (which i'm hoping will be very soon!!) i'm going to have them do it for me.
i've always gone to my accountant, because of all of my different forms (for employment, money market, cd's, tuition, and now my business, etc.) and find that i'd rather pay the extra $ for them to do it right, than me possibly making a mistake.

I've used it about as long I think and it's been great for me.

I've been using Turbo Tax since at least 2000 and find it the easiest. I do itemize deductions, but it's really just mortgage interest, child care and charitable contributions. This is the last year I'll have child care deductions. I have my exemptions fine tuned now so I got $26 back from Federal (the goal is to KEEP my own money and only pay them what they're actually going to get rather than let them have my money interest free for months) and I got about $900 back from State (so that I do get a small windfall every February)

I do it myself online and have already got my return. I use the 1040EZ though so my taxes are super simple... I have one job, only 2 forms of investment at the moment, so I'm pretty comfortable with not having pros do it. Used to have my mom's CPA do it... and probably will once a own a house and whatever.

Love the commercial, talk to the box!
If you own a business or have many deductions that will red flag IRS, suggest that You use a Tax Person!
Been there to many times!
Oh, The kinder IRS, right!

My mom has her own tax business, so she does my taxes for me! She'll do your taxes, too, if you want, haha.
