It was stated that there are *19* castaways and Survivor normally starts out with an even number of people, so maybe they "pick teams" and whoever is the last one standing, one of the teams put that remaining person on the "already picked" people, and sends home of the "already picked" people home, without that person even getting a chance to "play" (which would royally suck, but I'm just trying to think of the possibilities.)

They kinda did something like with Survivor: Pulau, where 2 people didn't even get to play (Wanda and Jonathan)...they got booted before the game really even began.

Good idea but somehow I think that something happens during/after a challenge or at a meeting.
