My husband is pretty handy - and he works at a factory with every imaginable tool - none of them knew how to fix cast iron. He took it & made clean cuts so the lyre is now just U shaped and stops at the top without the curly )( things on top. When he brings it back, I'll repaint the tops. Better than nothing I suppose - I'm still

about it though. I didn't pay $27 for something that was broken.
