OK.... Did you not just tell a story about how he invited you to his house TWICE knowing that he had a woman (oh yes... PLEASE BELIEVE that they are still together or something is going on), that he did not defend you like a man should, AND got mad when you pressed charges against her? And then you double back and ask if you should give him a gift??? Are you serious?

CO-SIGN!!!!!! That dude will probably be the one to bail that chick out...why would he be upset that you pressed charges if he wasn't still involved with her....from your post you don't seem like the type use to or willing to dealing with confrontation and if you continue to deal with this guy the drama will be there......let that mess be....life's too short for the BS!!!

ETA--you shoulda been looking for a bat in the house to take to her head while that trick was outside wrecking shop on your car!!!!!

It sounds to me as if they had a fight and he decided to make her jealous using you. Been there, done that, cut your losses and move on.

p.s. Why did you buy him a gift in the first place at this point in the "relationship?"

p.p.s. The behavior you described is not exclusive to "ghetto" women. Jealousy knows no socioeconomic class.

Lightbulb Thank you...

Thank you everybody for all the advice...especially Afrochic.

And I didn't mean "ghetto" as socioecomic class. There are wealthy people who act ghetto. I meant ghetto as how she carried herself.
