Question What song currently describes your love life

Sorhors I was wondering what are some songs that describe your love life. I'll go first.

1. Ready for love-India.Arie

2. Me, Myself and I-De La Soul

this is a great thread

i don't know if anyone on here has heard any music by res. she's fairly new out of philly. her video for "they say vision" has played on mtv a few times. but her last song on the cd is called "tsunami"
its a chronology of love: falling into it, seeing the reality of it, and then choosing it over all else. its a beautiful song.

i'm bout to go listen to it now!

Res is HOT. I got wind of her last summer. I wish she were being promoted more strongly!

I don't know. Are there any songs out there about trying to avoid love at all costs?

you know i can't think of one... the themes of today seem to be: "i need a girl" "why can't we fall in love?" "addicted" and i could go on.

Greetings ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho! The song that BEST describes my love life right now is Half Crazy by Musiq. Being in a "for all intense purposes a relationship" (this is his phrasing)with my friend is CRAZY!

Can you ever go back to being jusfriends?

Smile

I was looking at some of the topics and this is a really good one I would definately have to agree with serious AKA with Musiq's "Half Crazy" but you have to recognize Glen Lewis's #12 (i got a burnt copy) but my guess is the title is "I'm Sorry". Right now him and sexy Soulchild (as long as he has on shades; lol) are in HEAVY rotation in my spot

Sister Sorors bluz4 and Finer Woman 10-A-91, I'm vibing with y'all on Res. I saw her at On The Bricks in Atlanta this Friday for the free free , and she was excellent. She had the whole crowd loving her. It's too bad that it's taking a Top 40 station (the primary concert promoter) to back her up instead of our major urban powerhouses.

But on to this sensational thread (Thanks, soror!).....

I just got back together with my baby, and after a bit of struggle on both parts, I think we realize that we really are good together. Forgive me for sounding 15, but "Gots Ta Be" by B2K has a lot of good lyrics that describes us right now. I'm a native Atlantan, and I support my own, but this version is a little better than the original by Jagged Edge.

*back into lovey dovey land*
