I'm not sure that I understand exactly what u are trying to say. If u are able to relate to her as a friend, why would it be hard to relate to her as a girlfriend? Her skin may be different from yours but she's still a person.

and there are a completely different set of issues betweeb dating interracially and having diversity among your friends.

Why do ppl continue to use their own experience as a benchmark for others? It is absolutely wonderful that you have had successful interracial relationships, but how does that speak to someone else's life, family, environment, etc?

No, I was talking about our organizations, not us. I think the biggest issue would come from outside. The snares we get I would have to get used to. But right now I would like to remain friends. But you're absolutlely right she is a human being, so I wasn't saying I can't relate to her, it's just when she talks about her sorority I don't know what she's talking about, or when I talk about my fraternity she looks at me like that's all.
