Oooh! I have horrible, short, stubby eyelashes. I swear, I hate my eyelashes. Will an eyelash transplant make me fit in and feel better about myself? Are you sure it's a transplant, because I'm not interested in any of those silly eyelash extensions. Can you tell me everything the article said, including which salons are most experienced with eyelash transplants?

I'm so excited!!!

How can you tell these women to 'just buy a wig'?!?!?!

Having HT is a totally different experience, and it's unfair of you to expect them to sacrifice that opportunity just because you think it would be easier for them to choose another path.

To all the ladies attempting HT: I think you're very brave for putting yourselves out there! Keep a good attitude and you'll end up with the HT you were meant to have!

Thank you SigKapSweetie -- you are obviously a very caring person who wants to make sure we all have an opportunity to join the wave of the future. You know that having a wig isn't the same as getting HT & that some people will always try to push other "options" on us, even though they aren't for us. We have a DREAM to fulfill & the journey to getting HT is the only way we will ever be happy.

YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!11!!!!!1!!!!one!!!!eleventyoneon e!!!!!! T*P -- Big Bird sounds AWESOME! I can't wait to hear all about it - please post EVERY LITTLE DETAIL on here for us to read. I am so excited - will you write a rec for me. I don't know anything about Big Bird, but yellow is one of my favorite colors

As for eyelash transplants - no thank you. I am perfectly happy with my eyelashes. I think people that get ET's are just vain & snobby -- especially if they get both HT & ET. How insensitive can it be that people are suggesting ET's??

Alfa Frog - please don't try to turn this thread into a train wreck by posting a link about a hair trauma show. Until you have gone through what I have gone through, you will never know what trauma really means. And to think someone wanted to set you up with my cousin Hickey -- disgraceful (how many more before I max out the smilies?? )

You know, I have had no appreciation from you this entire time for helping sponsor you for my org! Considering how against it I am you should consider yourself lucky. And now you go get a HT somewhere else? I am never sponsoring someone I don't know on the internets again!

That is really insensitive to say. I've always supported you on your HT and why can't you support me on my possible ET? I mean some people aren't as lucky to have long, luxurious eyelashes.

Fine then - do it. See if I care - see if you can go without reading my posts. You care waaaaaaay too much about my cousin Hickey to ignore me. I have heard talk that you have been asking around about him. But you need a "sponsor" to get on that man's schedule -- and if you think I'm going to ever support your efforts to get a date with him, you are sadly mistaken. And don't pull that "my husband" business with me. We all know that when it comes to my cousin Hickey, no man stands a chance.

epchick - I guess I'm just a hypocrate, but ET's are serious business. I don't want you to be mislead & think it is so easy to shop for an ET salon & that you'll get your first choice or something. It isn't easy - my journey to fulfill a dream for the wave of the future has been difficult at best. I have strong ties to the HT world, and I am still having trouble. You have NO ties to ET's and you come waltzing through here like you just have to find someone who will sponsor you & that's that. I think you should look for another area that you could belong to - something that takes more people in a year than an ET salon. Something that you could join & still get something out of without the heartbreak of rejection. Just trying to keep it real - good luck in whatever you choose
