PS: The fact that you have never heard of mixers/swaps is very humorous, but then again, who can a BAND "fraternity" swap with?
Well, there is a band sorority, Tau Beta Sigma. Theoretically, if they wanted to have mixers, they could have them with them.

Anyway, D-Psi-Ple, I'm not trying to sound like a jerk about this, I'm just genuinely curious - what do you all do, that you can tell us about? I never really knew what the KKPsi or TBS chapters at my undergrad (a PWI) did - they weren't very visible on campus. Is that different at HBCUs?

Actually, it would make me prejudiced. Prejudice is a noun, and I'm not one. Also, everyone's prejudiced. Thats why I joined a fraternity, if I had wanted to hang out with everybody in the entire world, I wouldn't have. I like people like me. I like people who share common interests, because it gives us something to talk about. Simply preferring certain types of people doesn't mean you are adversely judging others, its just personal preference. I imagine a lot of black people prefer to hang out with black people, makes sense to me. I prefer not to hang out with gothic kids, because they depress me and I think they're freakshows. I prefer not to hang out with ghetto people because I can't understand what they're talking about, and I fear they may, in fact, gat me. I don't understand what the problem is here.

You're not prejudiced? I find that hard to believe.
