Yeah, in my experience with SAE at UT and SAE at other Southern schools......chapters focus on recruiting and catering to whites from specific areas, backgrounds, social circles, etc. etc.

Nobody said anything about advertising, thats just how it is in reality. I think incoming students are pretty aware of the fact as well.

It means that if shinerbock and macallan want to advertise SAE as white, they can go right ahead, but when people say "WGLO" they are generally implying the NPC as well, which would include my sorority. I was saying that they can leave my sorority out of the blanket group of "WGLO's". If any NPCs would like to associate themselves with being a WGLO, they are free to do so, but Alpha Sigma Alpha does not.

No one said anything about your group. It was a general reference to WGLOs. If you think your group doesn't fit that description then make the correction for YOUR group (or just ignore it) and stop sweating it.

Does WGLO not imply NPC (however wrong the implication)? My group is NPC and therefore is included in the reference.

There are a whole lot of NPC and IFC organizations--as well as members who either consciously or subconsciously consider their organizations WGLOs.
Stop attaching everything to you and yours if it doesn't apply.
