I often do because the portions are smaller. Some of the regular entrees have portions that are enough for like 4 people

Only at fast food places. In any case, a Happy Meal can be ordered as an adult meal. You just don't get a toy.

What fun is a happy meal without a toy?

Now the real question is, if you're petite, can you order off the kids' menu?

Same rules apply IMHO, but you're fair game for going for the child admission rates anywhere you go....

Portions are pretty large in most restaurants so I usually take half home of whatever I order. I have only ordered off of it when the options are along the lines of burgers and fries and I might share an appetizer or order dessert to share so they are usually okay with it. Like my sister AGDLynn, if there is a squirrel item I am likely to get a kids meal, and if there isn't I give the toy to one of my assistants as she has a preschooler.

no you're not. I love it, for the record, but have friends that detest it.

I'll get Happy Meals or something similar, but as many people said, for the most part the kids' menus at sit-down restaurants are crap.

At Taco Bell I get the Burrito kid's meal w/a Medium Dr. Pepper. (Secret of most fast food places - they will usually let you upgrade your drink to the next size for like $0.10). It's actually cheaper then getting a bean burrito, nachos and drink seperate. Plus you get the toy.

No, I'm not fond of it either, nor do I like PB&J sammiches.

Sometimes? I eat from the kids' menu all the time! Some of the dishes offered in eat are tastier and cheaper than the adult versions. And I can finish them off rather than only being able to eat half of the meal.

Dionysus- is this forum Ehell? I'm there too.
