LOS ANGELES - The wife of Grammy-winning singer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds has filed for divorce after 13 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences, court papers indicated.

Tracey Edmonds filed for divorce from her former husband Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The couple had announced in October that they were ending their marriage with a "permanent separation" and said they had been separated for some time.

"We remain best friends," their statement then said.

Her attorney declined to discuss the matter Wednesday night. Kenneth Edmonds could not be reached for comment by The Associated Press.

The couple have produced movies and television shows together, including "Soul Food," and said in October they would continue to work together on business ventures.

Kenneth Edmonds, 47, and Tracey Edmonds, 37, married on Sept. 5, 1992. They have two sons: Brandon, 9, and Dylan, 4 1/2.

Tracey Edmonds, who as head of Edmonds Entertainment Group, Inc. is considered one of the most powerful women executives in Hollywood, is seeking physical custody of the boys, with visiting rights for her husband.

Besides his career as a best-selling crooner with hits including "Whip Appeal" and "Change the World," Edmonds has written hits for Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Bobby Brown and others.

Neither was I. But I had no idea she got THAT big. She needs to stop on the weight loss now though, she looks sickly. If she toned up, she'd look really nice. That pic of her and BGA is cute though.

Terry cheated too! In just released court documents, it has been revealed that Author Terry McMillan was not the innocent, hurt wife that she portrayed to the media. According to published reports, McMillan taunted her soon to be ex-husband with tales of infidelity. Last year, McMillan was granted a divorce from her younger husband Jonathan Plummer after he revealed he was gay. Their divorce played out to the media like a movie, and it was assumed that Jonathan hurt McMillan with his cheating. Well, she was cheating too. In written letters, McMillan stated that she cheated on her husband during the last three years of their marriage because he was a drag, boring, he got on her nerves, embarrassed her because he acted like a homosexual and he couldn't hold an intelligent conversation. I find it hard to believe that she cheated on him. She loved the ground he walked on, and I think she sent him these letters to hurt him.

80's singing sensation Jody Watley didn't make any friends at her last visit to the plastic surgeon's office. Sources say she was so rude and nasty, that someone sent out pictures of her face after the surgery with the bandages and bruises. Let's hope when the swelling goes down she doesn't look like a new person.

Queen Latifah's new movie, Last Holiday, with LL Cool J opens in theatres on January 13th.

Stevie Wonder is getting a lifetime achievement award at this year's UNCF telethon. The show airs locally at 12 noon on NBC-10, Sunday, January 8th. Quincy Jones and long time host Lou Rawls will also be honored. This show was taped last fall before it was announced that Rawls was ill with brain and lung cancer. The only problem is the networks want Michael Jackson to appear on the show, which centers on his nephews Taj, Taryl and TJ, the sons of Tito. Since his acquittal, Michael has turned his back on his family and has left the country. 300 lbs is more of a 28. Depending on height - 220-230 is a 22.

Nonetheless - I'm happy for her!
